Is Making More Money A Blessing…Or A Burden?

This may SHOCK you (I know it did me) but many women fear making more money. This fear may not “make sense” or seem logical, but it feels real, which means it must be released in order to move forward powerfully in both your life AND your business.
When I ask women what this fear is about, they tell me that they:
- Worry they won’t know what to do with the money once they have it
- Worry that having more will change their relationship with their significant other, or hamper their ability to attract someone new into their life
- Doubt they’ll be able to hang on to it once they have it, and end up creating their debt all over again
Women, much more so than men, often experience inner conflict between our desire to create a more abundant life, enjoy a yummy lifestyle and treat ourselves to life’s luxuries…with how much we allow to flow into our bank account.
It seems silly when you look at it in the light of day. But in our secret thoughts, these fears are real and can prevent us from breaking free of money patterns we otherwise seemed destined to repeating throughout our life.
So, what can you do? Is it possible to be at peace with making more so that you can view it as an amazing blessing, rather than a troublesome burden?
Here are three strategies for releasing any fear, doubt or concern you may be secretly harboring about becoming richer. By implementing each one you can easily open your “inner door” to greater wealth so that you’re willing and able to take advantage of the many opportunities coming to you via your business.

Is Your Man’s Money Beliefs Holding You Back From Success?

If you’re in a committed relationship then you’ve likely had an argument about money. Add in to the mix that you’re an entrepreneurial woman and arguments about money can magnify in both frequency and intensity.
Studies show that the number one topic couples fight about is money. I’m not surprised, since money is often a mirror for where we give up our power, in addition to mirroring our fear of not having enough. No wonder this is such an emotionally charged topic!
To top it off, if you’re growing you’re business then it’s critical that you invest in training courses, attending events, coaching programs and other activities that your spouse may see as frivolous, when in truth, these are the very activities that will help you leap out of struggle and into success.
So, what’s an ambitious gal to do when she loves her man, doesn’t want to compromise her business growth by holding back, yet doesn’t want to get into another argument over money?

At the heart of a woman’s soul isn’t the goal to create riches, but the desire to help others. But just because a woman’s primary motivation isn’t money doesn’t mean she can ignore it and expect to thrive.
Unfortunately, most women are never taught or mentored how to enjoy a positive, healthy relationship with mo.ney that honors their desire to do good AND do well. So, instead of treating mo.ney with respect and appreciation, they push it away from them in many small ways, every day.
Luckily, all it takes is a few simple tweaks in your daily behavior to quickly allow greater wealth to flow into your life with grace and ease.

In the 4th call in this series I talk about one of my very favorite topics: How to Charge What You’re Worth and Get It. Honestly, I think this is one of the most powerful modules of the entire Certified Money, Marketing and Soul Coach Training Program.
Women often undercharge and under-earn while working themselves to the bone.
