Do your marketing strategies give you this much time off?
February 26th, 2008 by Kendall
I just returned to “work” today after nearly three weeks off. I spent a lot of that time working on my new home construction project (hours spent at the county getting permits plus tile store hopping aren’t exactly exciting ways to spend our beautiful Tucson days but I am loving this project so the time spent was worth it!).
In between that fun I spent several days mapping out my 2008 business year. My map includes my Profit Pyramid™ plan, marketing projects and marketing calendar.
This year, instead of just planning out which programs to offer I also started to plan how I can put myself in front of my potential clients in a bigger, more consistent way. That includes more articles submitted to magazines, more P.R. (okay, SOME P.R. would be more than I’ve done in the past!) and a new emphasis on affiliate/alliance relationships.
No matter how much my business grows there is always a part of me that worries a bit, “Will my plans work out?”, “Will you, my loyal reader, want and say ‘yes’ to the programs I am designing with you in mind?”.
The answer my head gives is “Gee, I don’t know. Maybe, maybe not.” But the answer my HEART gives is, “Yes!”. I am utterly convinced that my marketing plans are in harmony with my Soul’s Divine Mission™.
And that is what makes me successful. My success is about more than just making great mo-ney, it’s about doing what my mom (and co-coach) Kailash always tells me: Say “yes!” to yourself no matter what!
So…as we enter the new year I invite you to take a leap into a new level of success with yourself (and see how it in-creases your pocket book too!). Say “yes!” to yourself, no matter what. You’re in great company as you do!
Until next week…
