When your intuition says, “Yes” but logic tries to convince you that “You’re not ready,” remember that intuition is the voice of the Divine.
When your desire is to step up but you feel afraid, remember that you wouldn’t have the desire if you weren’t capable and ready to fulfill it.
Instead of comparing yourself to others, remember to feel immense gratitude and appreciation for YOUR unique brilliance.
If you find yourself holding back, remember that you’re standing on the edge between the old and the new you. Step over the edge and you’ll find freedom.
If you’re wanting clarity, remember that clarity comes when you’re decisive and take action.
If you’ve been playing small, remember that you only have one life and it’s meant to be played full out and full of passion.
If your habit is to give generously to others, remember that you must give in equal amounts to yourself so that your body, mind and spirit never run dry.
If you’re uncertain, remember that fear and doubt are not truth.
Remember that what you admire and appreciate in others is ALREADY present in YOU!I hope this Thanksgiving holiday you give yourself the blessing of authenticity, grace and ease in all that you do!

Women Entrepreneurs: How Much Light Are You Shining?
October 4th, 2009 by Kendall SummerHawk
“If you were a 100 watt light bulb, how many watts do you believe you are shining in the world today?” This is an interesting contemplation, isn’t it!
This question was posed by my friend and colleague, Carolyn Ellis, the founder of Brilliance Mastery. She is hosting the Unleash Your Brilliance Summit on October 6-8, which is a unique and powerful virtual event for women entrepreneurs who are ready to step into their full brilliance in business and in life.
I am delighted and honored to be part of an expert panel of women entrepreneurs who are living and expressing their brilliance in the world today.
Carolyn’s commitment is to create deeply revealing, personal interviews with her guest experts. You’ll learn:
• the biggest traps entrepreneurs need to avoid
• how to tap into your passion
• how to lead your business with confidence,
• how to regroup when the going gets tough and your doubts and fears try to take you out
This virtual event takes place October 6-8, with two speakers each night. All you need is a phone to participate. Registration for the calls is complimentary!
As someone who deeply believes that you deserve to be financially successful by fulfilling your Soul’s Divine Purpose via a thriving business, being a panelist at the Unleash Your Brilliance Summit was an invitation I just had to jump on. My deepest wish is that we can all answer that question with a resounding “Yes, I am shining my full 100 watt potential!”
I hope you will join me and Carolyn on October 6-8 and listen in to the Unleash Your Brilliance telesummit!

Winners are Quitters!
September 14th, 2009 by Kendall SummerHawk
I’m happy to say that I am going to have some new experts share their information and insights on my blog in the coming months as a way to bring even more valuable content to you on a regular basis. Here’s just a sneak peak with a guest post by Jim Everett.
That’s right; winners ARE quitters. Not only are they quitters, they’re the fastest and most efficient quitters. That’s why they succeed.
How about you? Are you a quitter?
Do you quickly recognize and immediately stop the strategies, tactics and activities that take you further from your goals? Or do you invest even more time and effort in what doesn’t work because you’re used to it, because you’re good at it, or because you like it?
This is a crucial distinction that can make the difference between a life of constant struggle, worry and frustration, and consistent progress in the direction of your dreams.
You’ve probably heard of the Pareto Principle, better known as the 80/20 rule. It simply states that 20% of your activities are responsible for 80% of your results and vice-versa. This means that the vast majority, 80%, of your time and effort is only getting 20% of your results. These are the activities that winners quit. They relentlessly pursue their goals, but they quickly discontinue efforts that don’t pay off.
If you think about it for just a minute you can probably name at least 3 activities you perform on a consistent basis that do not support your success.
Here are a few places to look:
1. Internet – between e-mail, Face Book, YouTube, and Google it’s easy to waste hours that could have been very productive. All of them have great uses, but they require extreme discipline.
2. Television – many people spend 1/3 of their lifetime in front of the tube (or plasma). If you’re going to watch TV, make sure you’re getting value.
3. Personal Relationships – notice how you feel during and after interacting with friends and family members. If you feel drained, frustrated, or depressed you may want to reconsider who you’re spending time with.
These are just some of the proverbial ‘2 steps back’ for every step forward.
What would happen to your life if you just stopped taking those backwards steps?
That’s right! You would make a lot more progress, feel better about yourself and have a lot more fun along the way.
If you want to hear from some very successful online entrepreneurs and the actions that have contributed the most to their success, including quitting in many cases, please check this out. They held nothing back and what they said could change your business in a really meaningful way.
