New baby coming soon

That’s me, next to my Marketing with Soul Strategist, Melani Ward.
Melani attended a semi-private training with me in Las Vegas, with one of my mentors. I loved having her there so we could plan together how we’re going to implement the info we learned.
Melani is also a gifted numerologist and she has me “hooked on the numbers!” I’m having her read the numbers on every event, launch or program I’m offering this year. I even had her help choose the new toll-f.r.e.e number we’re installing this month.

Turning Learning into Action

I’m headed out of town to attend a private training this week with one of my mentors. Now, traveling is not my favorite thing to do (I would so much rather stay home and play with my “ponies”, go out dancing with Richard or cuddle up with a good movie). So what lures me away from home so frequently?
Learning.
I thought you might like to know HOW I turn so much learning into action, and how I stay out of overwhelm even though I frequently attend events.
You see, for me, learning isn’t just attending an event. It’s the excitement of discovering more about what makes people tick. It’s hearing how to do what I do even better and it’s the anticipation of getting even just one idea that can transform my life or my business.
One thing I’ve learned is that I don’t have to implement everything in order to gain value from attending an event. I just have to implement ONE thing. Then one more. Then one more. Three things implemented have the power to set you and your business in a new, exciting and lucrative direction. That’s all you need!
The thing is, I invested in learning long before I had a 7-figure business. I remember years ago investing $349/month for a three month program, back when I charged much less than that per client. I was scared and I definitely gulped when I said, “Yes” to the program. But what I knew in my heart and soul was that investment was exactly what I needed to move my business forward, and I was right.
I believe that learning isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. And I find that the more I’m in a live or virtual “room” with others who are learning, the more I stay motivated, on task and in action. I ignore overwhelm because I’m acutely focused on being decisive and taking action. I’m happy to invest in learning opportunities because I know I’ll implement one, two or three things that will make a measurable difference in my business.
And I’m confident when choosing what program or event to attend because I listen to my intuition telling me what I need. That wise part in each of us is the best “coach” I know of, don’t you agree?
