When it comes to family you inherited more than just your looks, height or hair color. You also inherited beliefs and values about money that have been handed down for generations.

Which is great if your family’s money history was free from turmoil, secrecy or difficulties.

Unfortunately, what’s more likely true is that the money habits and mindset you inherited are keeping you from realizing your value and preventing you from charging what you’re worth, standing in your power with clear money boundaries, raising your fees and more.

Good news is, the opportunity to heal your money legacy is right at your fingertips. And, once you do so, you’ll see an immediate surge of new opportunities, growth and cash flow in your business.

To help you re-invent your money legacy, here are 3 money and soul tips I’ve personally used to help me go from frustrating 5-figures to now running a multi-million dollar coaching business.

How To Tell The Difference Between Intuition & Fear

Women entrepreneurs need to depend on their intuition a lot more than they normally allow themselves to.

Sure, logic and reason have their place in making decisions, but these left-brain, masculine qualities will keep you playing it safe, thinking about growth in small, incremental steps and prevent you from taking the bold leaps that are often required in order to fulfill your dream and satisfy your Soul’s Divine Purpose (not to mention, stop you from making a lot more mo.ney!).

The problem is, women often mistake fear or doubt as intuition. Reason is this: fear or doubt typically speak to us in a loud, unpleasant voice. Much like a nasty teacher from your past, it’s a voice that commands attention and can intimidate us into submission.

Compare that to the voice of intuition, which is typically softer and sweeter. It can even be more of a feeling or a sensation. Think of your intuition as a whisper, rather than a shout and you’ll understand what I mean.

So How Do You Tell The Difference Between Intuition And Fear?

Easy! First, think of something you know to be factually true that also has emotional significance for you. How do you know it’s true? You probably just “feel it.” Likely, your heart or your gut tells you it’s true.

Now think of something you did (or a decision you made) that you knew in advance was the right thing to do. This is something that turned out well, even though at the time, it may not have made sense “logically.” It’s likely you have a similar feeling about it as you did the first example above.

Finally, think of something you’re contemplating doing. Maybe it’s a program you’re considering, or something practical like raising your fees or launching a new in.come stream. Choose something that you’ve been feeling doubt or fear about.

I bet the feeling of doubt or fear isn’t in your heart or gut, is it? It’s likely up higher, in your head or even outside of you, swirling around your ears.

Bingo! That’s your clue that tells you it’s doubt or fear you’re experiencing, not intuition. Now, stay with me on this because what I’m about to reveal is going to sound a little woo-woo, but it works, I promise!

If you energetically “move” the decision you’re considering down into your heart or your gut you’re going to know what to do. This is because your intuition is connected down deep in your body, in your heart or in the seat of your creativity. By “moving” your decision you’re short cutting the left-brain chatter of doubt or fear, who’s sole purpose is to distract you from the truth and instead, you’re letting the part of you that is connected to Divine Wisdom guide your choice.

How cool is that, right?!

Remember, Doubt And Fear Are Not Truth

Your intuition is always right, even when the choice you’re making makes no sense in the moment you’re making it. My advice? Start energetically “moving” all of your decisions down to where your wisdom lives, and you’ll love the choices you make and the amazing results you create for yourself in the new year!

What You Must Let Go Of To Grow

I hear it all the time: “Kendall, I want to grow my business but I’m afraid I can’t handle it, given how I’m already stretched to the max. I don’t know how you do it all..help!”

First of all, let’s get real here. I DON’T “do it all.” No one could. So, start by letting yourself off the hook of having to live up to some “Barbie” standard of perfection that doesn’t exist in the real world.

If you’re feeling like you can’t handle more growth it’s likely because you’re carrying around excess baggage, which means it’s time to do one of my favorite activities: let go to grow.

It’s simple, really. You can’t pour more into an already full cup. So, if you want to grow your business and create more freedom in your life you have to let go to create space for something new and exciting to present itself.

Now, letting go isn’t limited to just cleaning out a closet or getting caught up on your filing. Periodically, you have to let go of emotional baggage, including old wounds, goals that no longer inspire you, “shoulds” and anything that makes you feel guilty. Do so, and you’ll uplift your spirit and create an opening for exciting new opportunities to come your way.

Does this actually work? Yes! Years ago, I was reluctant to let go of what no longer served me, even if, on the “outside” it looked like it was working fine. Consequently, my business experienced very slow, frustrating growth.

Today, I’m celebrating my third year in a row of doubling my revenue and I’m looking forward to doing so again in 2010. Letting go to grow is a big help in making this kind of accelerated success possible.

So, to help you out, here’s a quick checklist of what you MUST let go of to grow.

As I’ve stepped more and more into the Divine Feminine and have begun speaking openly about how that’s helped me grow my business from frustrating five figures to now a multi-million dollar company in just a few short years, woman keep asking me, “Kendall, what mindset shifts did you have to make to get where you are today?”

I continually work on mindset, as it, in combination with courage and intuition are the foundation of the success I’ve had in my business.

But mindset is more than just reading an affirmation every day. Your mindset is the beliefs you hold so strongly that nothing will shake them loose. When you’re having a down or a tough day, you rely on your mindset to see you through. When you’re faced with a decision that will change the course of your business (and your life!) it’s your mindset that helps you make the right choice.

So, as you read through the list of mindset secrets I’m sharing with you, do this: don’t just read them and forget about them. Read each one out loud and allow yourself to FEEL it within you as if it is true. Do this, and you’ll experience the true power these mindset secrets have to help you quickly and authentically grow your heart and spirit, as well as your business.
