Do you love the idea of working from home but you’re wondering how to handle distractions such as housework, kids, hubby and friends?
Working from home affords many benefits. Think about it: no traffic, commuting or annoying coworkers. But without the right mix of people contact and structure you can easily fritter away your time without the things you need to show for it, such as new clients and lucrative opportunities.
I’ve run my business from home for nearly ten years — from when I just started to now, as a multi-million dollar business — and would never trade in my home office for a “real” office, no matter how big my business gets.
Here are my favorite secrets for turning your home into what I call, a “success sanctuary.”

Create Powerful client relationships and expand their opportunities

One of the biggest “A-ha!” moments my 2010 Certified Money, Marketing and Soul Coach training students had last week was finally “getting” how, in their desire to help/be of service/make a difference they were actually disempowering their clients.
Maybe you can relate to this:
- Going over — sometimes waaaaayyyy over! — on your coaching sessions
- Under charging and therefore not challenging your clients to step up and play big
- Thinking “Who am I?” to offer a new program or product
If this is ringing true for you, let me help you out here…overwhelming people, disregarding your own boundaries or undervaluing your gifts does NOT allow you to help others.
You MUST hold yourself as powerful, hold your clients as powerful, and create an energetic space (via clear boundaries) so that your clients can step up to, play big and expand their opportunities and results.
Once you experience how yummy and expansive this feels you’ll never again go back to the old, contracted way of doing things.
