Special Holiday Blessings
December 24th, 2008 by Kendall
Richard and I (that’s us on the left) started the holiday season having dinner with my dear friends, Baeth Davis (middle) and Helen Graves, plus social networking goddess Mauri Smith (in red) and her husband Ty.
Mauri and Ty were visiting Tucson in their motor home. I’m meeting more and more women entrepreneurs whose husbands work with them IN their business. I love it, since Richard and I will soon be celebrating our second year (or is it our third?!) of working together!
You may have noticed I’ve been giving myself a bit of a rest from writing my usual feature length article each week. A women’s energy travels in cycles, so once a year I let myself slow down a bit.
Then, before I know it, I’m rejuvenated, bursting with new ideas to implement, and ready to start the new year with renewed passion, commitment and vision.
There’s A Lot Of *Brand New* I’ll Be Bringing To You In 2009!
I’m already planning an updated new “look” for my website (I just had new photos taken today and I’m so excited because they truly capture my spirit and energy!).
Plus, I’m launching a new CERTIFICATION program (mark your calendar for June 11-13, 2009 and watch for details coming soon!). Expect to hear me speak out even more passionately about how you, the woman entrepreneur, can lead a rich and beautiful life because of creating a successful, thriving business (which I’ll show you how to do!).
So, enjoy this week’s special holiday blessing, straight from my heart to yours, and watch for BRAND NEW marketing, mo-ney and soul articles in the new year, okay?

How Good Is Your Small Business Brand?
December 21st, 2008 by Kendall
Branding has always enjoyed a certain elusive mystery. Is it a logo, a tag line or a color theme? Is it what you stand for or are known for?
In a word, the answer is, “yes!”
Unfortunately, most small business owners get the cute logo graphic, then quit there, thinking they’re “branded.”
What they miss is the emotional half of their brand. Think of this as the Yang needed to breathe heart and soul into the Yin of the logo.
Which is why branding must be approached with a softer, feminine mindset (guys, you can do this too so stay with me here, okay?).
There are three key components to a powerful brand. The good news is, they’re each easy to piece together into a powerful symbol of who you are and what you’re all about.
Emotions Rule!
Your brand is a richly complex combination of key emotions you want to evoke in people, along with the outward symbol of what it stands for.
For example, my brand emotions are passion, action and possibility. I’ve paid attention to making sure that every program, product or article gives highly practical information combined with the feelings I just listed, which creates a “You can do it!” approach to business.
What Will You Go To The Matt For?
Now, your brand also represents what you are a stand for, no matter what. In my business, I am a stand for making big money, doing what you love, no matter what. Which is why I focus on creating products and programs that help entrepreneurs pro’fit from their brilliance (and why I often kick a little butt when a client is compromising!).
The Fear Of Failure Lurks In This Common Misconception…
Your brand must be clearly focused on a single solution. This is where most small business owners get tripped up, because they “don’t want to limit themselves.”
The unwillingness to carve out your place in the world is simply a fear of getting serious about yourself and your business. It’s a fear of failure that manifests itself by making you think you’re limiting yourself in some way if you actually claim your truth about your niche.
Nothing could be farther from the truth. For example, when my Platinum Plus client, Nancy Marmolejo claimed her truth we quickly created her Viva Visibility brand. Since then, she has skyrocketed to success with sold out teleseminars, popular info products, an upcoming book deal and more, all focused on the power of social networking to generate leads for your business.
Likewise, Platinum Plus client Anese Cavanaugh’s brand, Dare to Engage, is now netting her high 5-figure corporate coaching contracts, a new line of info products and recognition from Inc 500 companies for her ability to get teams to “play nice together” (which impacts their bottom line).
Sometimes The Work Gets Messy
Great small business brands are an amazingly powerful tool for putting your business in the spotlight. And if you’re serious about reaching 6-figures and moving up into even higher numbers then you must be willing to do the sometimes “messy emotional” work of branding your brilliance with more than just a logo! The deeper you dig into what your brand evokes, provokes, and stands for, the greater your opportunity for success!

How Much Are You Willing To Care For Your Soul?
December 19th, 2008 by Kendall
These are three of my good Internet girlfriends, relaxing fireside in Phoenix, at the end of an intense but amazing business retreat where I got to be a client.
From the left, that’s Christina Merkely, yours truly (looking tired from my move!), Beth Schneider and Michele PW.
It was a busy week but thanks to exceptional planning and support, my move went smoothly and the retreat was a gift. I can’t wait to share with you the *NEW* business brand I’ll be revealing the first of the year!
How Much Are You Willing To Care For Your Soul?
Since the thought of driving up to Phoenix was stressful for me (I don’t really *do* freeways) I decided to have a private limo service whisk me home from the retreat hotel. What a blessing it was to relax in the back seat of a beautiful car. I slept the entire way and arrived home feeling like a princess, refreshed and ready to unpack my clothes and get settled into my new home office.
Investing in services like a limo ride isn’t just for the rich. It was surprisingly affordable and worth every penny in terms of my peace of mind. I look for ways to give my soul self-care every day. Anything that helps me feel peaceful and cared for gets a “Yes!” from me!
How Good Is Your Small Business Brand?
Branding can be a mystery but letting this important business building tool slide down your to-do list can be a costly mistake!
Women have the edge here because great brands are designed on the power of emotion. Learn what I mean in today’s BRAND NEW article. Just read on for the full scoop, okay?

Platinum Duet Program
December 8th, 2008 by Kendall
That’s me, holding hands with my hubby Richard, standing next to my “Fairy Godmother” Debbye Cannon (I love her cute turquoise jacket!).
This pic was taken at my favorite Mexican restaurant, where we celebrated two amazing days of organizing every possession I own.
Debbye is an “out of the box organizer” who specializes in working with creative types like me. She flew into town to spend two days sorting through my stuff in preparation for my move. There’s no way I would be this calm, prepared and at peace with our move into our new home if I hadn’t invested in Debbye. She was worth every penny, and more!
Oh, and since it’s always been a dream of mine to have a really beautiful closet system, Debbye went ahead and designed one for me. It’ll be installed next week, and I’ll be sure to share photos with you.
Why Our Move Is More Than Just A Change Of Address…
Moving into our new home is more than just a change of address. It’s moved me into a new place of connection with the power of the Divine Feminine. It truly feels like I’ve tapped into a never-ending source of insight, information and creativity. My focus is even more powerfully than ever on helping women entrepreneurs (and gentle, enlightened men) live their passion — and understand the Divine message that making great money is part of our spiritual path. The most authentic, easiest and exciting way to do this is via the success of your business.
Can I Share With You What I’ve Learned Over This Past Year Of Reaching 7-Figures With My Business?
I’m opening up two spots for a special, custom-designed Platinum “Duet” program that includes in-person retreats with me and the horses, color palette with Kailash Sozzani, generous private coaching time with me, access to my Inner Circle resources…and so much more.
I’m ONLY accepting two people into this elite program. To qualify, you must have a website, a newsletter and must either already be in 6-figures or ready to leap into 6-figures. The “outer” focus of this program is to mentor you to double your 1ncome, 1ncrease your list, brand your brilliance and leverage your expertise with information products and programs. My proven strategies have already helped dozens of past Platinum members achieve results like these, so why not let NOW be your turn?!
Plus you’ll learn how to effortlessly run your business. You’ll experience amazing new confidence, new 1ncome levels and new opportunities that open up for you as if by magic. The Divine Feminine rules the heart of abundance, creativity, receiving and generosity. THAT is “where your money is” and I’ll coach you to tap into the amazing power of these gifts, in addition to all of the great Internet marketing, pricing and program strategies I’ll coach you to create during our year together.
Don’t worry if you’re not sure HOW to make that happen — that’s what I’ll mentor you to accomplish easily, simply and gracefully. If that sounds good to you then consider applying. One idea alone –with the right mentoring to implement it — can easily transform your 1ncome!
If you’re serious about investing in YOU and your business growth then simply email my Platinum Assistant, Lynn with “Platinum Duet Program” in the subject line. I’m interviewing candidates right now for a January start. (-:
