What’s Better Than Gratitude?

Right now, the mood of the world is focused more on giving and abundance than ever before. No matter what your personal situation is, there’s much to feel gratitude for.

But what’s often missing is our ability to receive. Ladies, this is particularly true for you! We’re always ready to give our time, advice, energy and compassion, but how often do you allow yourself to receive in exchange?

Receiving Is Allowing Abundance To Manifest In You

Your ability to receive directly impacts your ability to manifest what you want in your life and business. I’ve found that as I’ve expanded my ability to receive, my business has grown and I’m more fully living my Soul’s Divine Purpose™.

Women especially need to practice receiving, as otherwise we find ourselves depleted, cranky or frustrated.

Here are three simple ways you can practice the feminine art of receiving. (Guys, this will work for you too!).

1. Graciously Accept A Compliment

Are you in the habit of discounting a compliment about your appearance, work or something you’ve created? The next time someone gives you a compliment, allow yourself to feel gratitude at being noticed and acknowledged.

Platinum “Duet”

Wow! Life here is a happy whirlwind this week. We have just a couple more weeks to finish our new house before moving in. That’s a quick snapshot of the kitchen, showing the yummy chocolate marble countertops and knotty alder cabinets. Hmmmm!

I’m also leading a Platinum “Duet” business building retreat here at my “old” house for members Nancy Marmolejo of VivaVisibility.com and Karen Knowler of TheRawFoodCoach.com. They are LOVING their time coaching time with the horses, and have already had breakthroughs regarding their leadership and boundaries in business and in life.

Next up for this week is I’ll be spending the weekend in the hands of out-of-the-box organizer, Debbye Cannon, who’s flying into town to help me sort through everything I own in preparation for moving (brave woman!). Debbye’s even going to design closet systems for me so my closets are beautiful and a joy to walk into.
