Audio Clip with Success Circle member Melinda Anderson on Her 50% Increase in Her Business
June 30th, 2008 by Kendall

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
I want to introduce you to Melinda Anderson of Southern Home Organizers.
Melinda’s business started out like a lot I see - a lot of work and not that much income.
Unhappy with the results she was getting on her own, Melinda wisely decided to stop modeling what everyone else was doing (which wasn’t working so great anyway) and smartly decided to join my Success Circle Coaching Club.
It didn’t take long before Melinda’s business took off!
Melinda quickly learned where she was missing opportunities to market her business online. She also learned how to predict in advance what her clients want so they immediately buy what she’s offering.
Now, Melinda’s business is bringing in a whopping 50% more than it did just a few months ago!
Listen in as Melinda and I connect as she shares exactly what she did to accomplish such fantastic results (it’s really pretty simple!).
PLUS, you’ll hear Melinda’s specific answers to the questions I asked her about what REALLY helped her the most to increase her income so much in such a short period of time.
Click on the play button above to listen to this short interview (it’s only a few short minutes so click and listen to it right now).

Meet My New “Internet Date” - Poncho
June 30th, 2008 by Kendall
Not to worry, Richard and I are still happily married! But, he has to share me for 2 weeks with Poncho, my new, very handsome 4-legged friend.
Poncho is the horse I’m leasing up in Colorado for the horse training I’m in. I call him my “Internet Date” because we met over the Internet.
Actually, Poncho’s “mom,” Aurora Wright, is one of my loyal newsletter readers. When she read I was going to the Parelli training she generously offered to lease her horse to me. He is her dream horse so I am truly honored she trusts me with him. Poncho and I will meet in person this weekend, when I arrive in the beautiful mountains of Pagosa Springs. He sounds like a great horse and I’ve always oohed-and-ahhhed over paint horses (For my non-horsey friends, a paint is a brown/white, or black/white “2 toned” colored horse.) I asked Spirit to bring me the perfect horse in an easy, graceful way and the team of Aurora and Poncho stepped right in at the perfect time.
In the meantime, I’m busy putting together all the details for my FIRST EVER Summer Success Sale! The sale starts this Saturday, July 5th and only runs until the 9th. We’re expecting a big response to this event so between the sale, and packing for the trip, I’m anticipating a really exciting week. (Watch this space–and your inbox–for details this week about the sale. It’s an awesome opportunity to hook up with me and my most popular coaching program, the Success Circle, so you can start creating some amazing results for yourself in your business, all at a VERY special reduced price. So stay closely tuned, okay?

Quick Tip on How to Prioritize Those Ideas Buzzing Around Your Brain
June 27th, 2008 by Kendall
Creative entrepreneurs like you and I often have the problem of TOO many ideas buzzing around our brain. So how do you know which ones to act on and which ones are just distractions?
Here’s a tip on a simple system I use to decide which ideas will pay off:
First, grab a few sticky notes or index cards and write down each idea on its own note/card.
Next, for each idea, ask yourself these questions:
1. Will this idea add money to my bank account (or add subscribers to my list)?
(Write down “yes” or “no” - no fudging or trying to justify - be honest, your income is at stake!)
2. If the answer is yes, then ask, how much and by when?
(Write down your numbers and date. Be realistic, not wishful thinking.)
3. If I don’t pursue this idea, what will I lose?
(Write what the downstream effect would be by not following through on this idea. Oftentimes, what you stand to lose isn’t that much, which means the idea does not carry much impact for you and your business.)
4. If I pursue this idea, what else–specifically!–will I gain?
(Be specific about what completing the idea will help you do next, and next, and next so you’re clear about it’s ranking and contribution to the growth of your business.)
Now sit back and look at your answers. Which ideas clearly have the biggest potential impact for you and your business? Which ones sound fun but aren’t really going to make a big enough contribution to increasing your income and your free time?
Give yourself permission to have great ideas that don’t ALL get acted upon. Better yet, give yourself permission to CHOOSE one idea right now TO act on!
That’s how I nearly tripled my income last year.
Love and brilliance,
Kendall

You Get What You Ask For
June 27th, 2008 by Kendall
I got dozens of responses to my post, asking what is the ONE amazing thing you would accomplish if you had all of the info, resources, training and accountability you need and want.
VERY exciting to see so many of you sharing what you really want!
Okay, now to answer a few of your questions regarding my vision board…
Someone asked what else was on my vision board (hard to see from the photo below) so here’s a quick “guided tour:”
MONEY CORNER (Top left).
Phrases cut out and pasted on are “Invest in the power of you” (which I have done with the different coaching programs I’m in. Yes, they cost money but the payback has been extraordinary!)
Phrase I found from Money magazine, “Triple Your Money.” Yep, did that last year, bringing in just under 3x what I had made the prior year.
Phrase “Fun Family Fortune” which for me represents bringing prosperity to my family, who now all work with me in my business (VERY cool!)
Phrase “Truth” and “Peace” and “The Meaning of Money” which represent my belief that making money is part of our spiritual path.

What Is Your Next Step?
June 27th, 2008 by Kendall
I was blown away when I saw how many of you posted a comment on my question of, “If you were to gain access to ALL of the marketing and business building knowledge, information, support, accountability and personal attention you need, what ONE amazing thing would you want to accomplish, right now, with your business?”
A lot of you are REALLY clear about what you want, which is fantastic. I noticed that most of you were very specific about what you want to accomplish - the project, specific numbers of new members on your list, whatever it was.
So what’s missing? I suspect it’s one of these 3 things:
1) No time line
If you don’t say WHEN you want to accomplish your ONE amazing thing, then it’s tough to rally together the energy, time, focus and resources2) Information
If you don’t know HOW to get done what you want to accomplish, it you get stuck, feeling frustrated and not making any progress3) No accountability
I know, you SAY you want to accomplish this one amazing thing, but who is really holding you to getting it done?I bet if you read your post on what your ONE amazing thing is you want to accomplish (and if you haven’t posted yours yet, please do right now!) you’ll see that one or more of these three things is missing.
I’ll post more over the next couple of days on what you can do about that, especially if you’re limited on resources like time or money, so stay tuned!
