Queen of your Online Empire
May 30th, 2008 by Kendall
What girl doesn’t LOVE receiving flowers??!
These were a surprise “thank you” gift from Gina Ratliffe (of EstherExperience.com) whose brand is about women being the Queen of their Online Empire. Gina interviewed me on the topic of woman and mo-ney, then sent these gorgeous flowers as a follow-up thank you gift (nice touch!).
This photo was taken on a day where I didn’t bother putting on any makeup (ladies, you KNOW what courage it takes to get your photo taken without any mascara!) and was hanging around in my horsey-clothes but standing next to those flowers, I DID feel like a Queen so thank you Gina!

How much more can you delegate?
May 27th, 2008 by Kendall
No one wants to hear about someone else feeling icky so I’ll spare you the details of my last week’s bout with the stomach flu (let’s just say I’m not a few pounds lighter and VERY happy to be back to work on my business!).
But, I DO want to share a revelation I had while lying on the couch recovering.
The revelation is that despite having four virtual assistants, my husband, my mom and my brother working with me in my business, I am STILL doing too much of the stuff I shouldn’t be.
Now, if you’re doing all you can and it still doesn’t seem like enough, this type of a revelation could feel like overwhelming. But for me it was a huge relief! That’s because it gives me permission to create enormous space in my business. I’m already brimming with ideas on how to simplify my team, what tasks to delegate and which systems need to be put into place.
What’s fueling me to make a lot of changes very quickly is the clear vision of HOW I’m going to use the time I’m creating. Curious to know more? Let’s just say that my plans include several special events on my favorite topic (mo-ney and pricing), plus the launch of an upcoming certification program that is just waiting to be birthed. And, more info products on YOUR favorite topics!
If you’re feeling more overwhelmed than excited about your business I invite you to lie on your couch, put your feet up and day dream about what you WOULD do if you had more time. Then fantasize about what you can get rid of to make it happen.

Can You Offer A Platinum-Style Coaching Program?
May 26th, 2008 by Kendall
One of the smartest decisions I’ve made in my marketing services business was the decision to offer high-end platinum-style coaching programs.
Practically overnight I added another six-figure income stream to my marketing services business. That quickly set off a chain of events that are also now bringing in a high six-figure income.
Platinum-Style Programs (what I call PSPs for short) are typically year-long packages of services, often including in-person retreat intensives, as well as telecoaching, teleseminars and other program benefits. PSPs can be offered collectively for a group, or privately for an individual. One of the PSP marketing strategies is to form a group of between 6-50 members.
Platinum Style-Programs are perfect for any type of coaching, consulting, training, organizing, design or speaking business. They lock clients into your services for a longer period of time which makes it possible for you to create better outcomes with your clients. They even out your cash flow so you can focus on doing what you do best instead of constantly requiring the need to implement new marketing strategies.

How to Keep Clients Coming Back for More
May 23rd, 2008 by Kendall
If you’re offering packages, coaching groups, platinum-style programs (what I call “PSPs”), consulting or membership programs through your business, keeping your clients motivated and accountable is something to which you should pay close attention.
One of the most fun ways to accomplish this is by creating friendly, healthy contests that make it exciting for your women entrepreneur clients to stretch beyond what they currently think is possible and create breakthrough results.
I’ve experimented with creating contests and “everyone-can-win” competitions in my PSPs and clients love them!

Create your own “mini-celebrity” status
May 20th, 2008 by Kendall
Cute, aren’t they?! That’s my hubby, Richard, riding his little Arabian mare, Tashia up our driveway over the weekend.
I love how photos of our current property look just like the Hollywood westerns from years ago, complete with scenic cactus, cotton tail rabbits and prairie dogs (we won’t mention anything about the creepy-crawly things the desert also sports!)
Speaking of Hollywood, did you know that it’s not only super easy but HIGHLY important that YOU create your own “mini-celebrity” status?
Just in case you think, “Oh, that doesn’t mean me!” I invite you to think again…and find out WHY you can’t ignore being the famed leader you’re meant to be.

Trying something new with your business? Here’s how to stay confident!
May 18th, 2008 by Kendall
Twice each week I go for a private Pilates session to keep my body fit and strong. In today’s session, my Pilates instructor, Julia, asked me to do something new that felt like I was falling backwards.
I didn’t like it. In fact, I instantly felt enough fear that I said, “I can’t do this!”
Julia immediately modified the exercise so I was still working the muscles she had in mind but without creating such a strong fear response. Cautious, but willing, I gave the “baby” version of the exercise a try and succeeded.
“Not to worry.” she said. “We’ll get you there!”How so like running a business! We’re often challenged to do things that feel scary. It could be creating your first teleseminar, making your first Platinum Style Program offer, raising your fees, giving a presentation, selling products back of the room, letting go of clients who no longer suit you or launching into an entirely new arena.
Whatever the activity, the point is that if it feels scary it means that you’re growing into something new. The trick is to make sure that you’re building on layers of confidence so that before you know it, the difference between where you are now and where you used to be feels like “no big deal.”
Although today I feel dubious that I’ll be able to roll myself backwards like a human beach ball, I trust Julia and I can already begin to picture myself performing the original exercise and celebrating my success. I bet that you too, can picture yourself performing something in your business that may have, in the past, felt difficult, only now, in your mind’s eye, looks like cake.
