That’s Jaguar, helping my Platinum HorseWise client, marketing expert Michele PW take her business to a new level of soul success and financial rewards.

Quick Way To Add Big Bucks To Your Business

I’m so excited! One of my clients just updated me that she already has her first paid Master Mind program half filled! A Master Mind is when a group of like-minded people meet in person or on the phone to brainstorm ideas, share what works, and hold each other accountable to taking massive action. I nearly tripled my income last year thanks to not only being in a Master Mind program but offering them to my clients as well.
 
I’ve coached dozens of other business owners on how to incorporate a Master Mind program into their business (businesses like professional organizers, designers, coaches, consultants, writers and other small business owners). Crap (Ugh…I Mean “Stuff”) I Don’t Do In My Business

Want to know what I DON’T do in my business so that I can focus on making a high 6-figure income?
For starters, I don’t answer emails sent in from my site. I don’t update my website myself anymore (this one was hard for me to give up because I love fiddling with my site!). I don’t pay bills, run to get the mail, do my own scheduling or do my bookkeeping.
 
So who does these tasks for me? My team. Now before you think I’m a total princess let me share with you that every time I add someone to my team I increase my income substantially. And even though it’s hard to bite the bullet and bring on board a new team member (I still like to think I can do it all myself…right!), I do it because I am crystal clear about HOW I’m going to spend the time I’m freeing up by hiring another assistant.
 
Here’s the kicker - when you spend time doing something like bookkeeping, not only are you “paying” yourself the equivalent of a bookkeeper’s fee (which is likely MUCH less than what you make in your business) but you’re also losing out on creating potential revenue generating ideas and opportunities. And that is worth thousands! This is what I get my Brand Authenticity Marketing, Money and Soul program members to focus on so they can make more, doing what they love (and leave the, ugh, “stuff” to someone else!). When Was The Last Time You Raised Your Fees?

I’m something of a maverick when it comes to setting and raising fees. I mean, why wait when it’s almost certain you’re undercharging? One quick tip when it comes to raising your fees is that your clients actually don’t really care what you charge. Really! What they DO care about is getting great value and results from your service. So be sure to list all the results your clients get from working with you. Then estimate what that’s been worth to them money-wise. The few minutes you’ll spend on this exercise can be worth thousands of dollars to you in higher fees!

Will Creating An Information Product Make Your Business More Money?

I just got oft the phone with a new Brand Authenticity member. She was skeptical that creating an information product (like a CD or a workbook) would work in her business. In 5 minutes I outlined six different ways she could use a single CD info product to get more business. For example, she can use it as an “audio business card” at networking events (MUCH more memorable than the usual boring business card), send it out to meeting planners to get speaking gigs, mail it to potential referral sources so they take her seriously, hand it out as a freebie “thank you” gift when she speaks, include it in follow-up mailing to new potential clients, give it to referral sources for them to hand out to their clients.

Even over the phone I could see the light bulb going off above her head. Think about it…wouldn’t YOU rather hire someone who had the prestige and credibility of their own info product CD over someone who didn’t? And wouldn’t that person be able to charge more for their services?!

These are exactly the kind of business-building strategies I LOVE to give away to my clients in my Brand Authenticity Marketing, Money and Soul program. It’s pretty amazing to see a room full of light bulbs going off when members see how easy it is to do and how it solves many of their marketing problems.

Makes my heart happy to know I’m putting money in their bank account. Yummy!

Quick Tip for Using Bonuses to Get New Clients

Ever wonder why someone as wealthy as Oprah cares about getting that special “free gift with purchase” offer at the department store makeup counter? You know, the one that includes the bright coral lipstick that doesn’t look good on anyone!

Because getting something for free feels good and smart business owners know that ALL buying decisions are based on emotion (with logic backing up the decision so it makes sense to the left side of our brain).

But which bonuses are the best to offer and what do you do if you don’t have a closet full of ebooks, reports or other products to give away?

One free, easy way to “sweeten the deal” to ethically motivate your potential client to take action and sign up for your seminar, workshop, teleseminar or purchase your product is to include products from other people.

You’ll be surprised how many business owners will say “yes” to your idea of including their product as a bonus gift with purchase of your product. All you need to do is ask. Be sure to mention the type of marketing you’ll be doing, the amount of exposure they’ll get and how your clients are a perfect match for their type of business.

Your cost? Nothing!
