Speak Up for What You Want!

Today is Independence Day in America. Yes, our political climate is fraught with problems that can't be ignored, but for today I am choosing to focus on what this day in our history represents.

Our ability to speak up for what we want.

Claiming and giving voice to what we want isn't just a skill we can practice; it's a mindset that bubbles over into creating the business and the life we dream of.

There is only one reason why we don't speak up more often (and more clearly) for what we want. We're afraid of what might happen if we do. We're afraid that things may change.

Instead of being afraid things will change when you speak up for what you want, COUNT on them changing!

That's the point, isn't it? We want something more, better, new or different.

So for the rest of this week, try speaking up for what you want at least once each day. Directly ask a client for a referral (without hoping they'll read your mind for you), ask for a higher fee, ask a client to do something extraordinary, ask your mate to do the dishes for you (or give you a foot-rub!), ask your sub-conscious to give you a new idea, ask for help to solve a problem.

Ask. Speak up. Claim what is yours, which is the right to live a beautiful life that meets your needs and fulfills your life's purpose (what I call your Soul's Divine Mission™).
