What's Better Than Gratitude?

Right now, the mood of the world is focused more on giving and abundance than ever before. No matter what your personal situation is, there's much to feel gratitude for.

But what's often missing is our ability to receive. Ladies, this is particularly true for you! We're always ready to give our time, advice, energy and compassion, but how often do you allow yourself to receive in exchange?

Receiving Is Allowing Abundance To Manifest In You

Your ability to receive directly impacts your ability to manifest what you want in your life and business. I've found that as I've expanded my ability to receive, my business has grown and I'm more fully living my Soul's Divine Purposeā„¢.

Women especially need to practice receiving, as otherwise we find ourselves depleted, cranky or frustrated.

Here are three simple ways you can practice the feminine art of receiving. (Guys, this will work for you too!).

1. Graciously Accept A Compliment

Are you in the habit of discounting a compliment about your appearance, work or something you've created? The next time someone gives you a compliment, allow yourself to feel gratitude at being noticed and acknowledged.

2. Willingly Accept An Offer Of Help

We're just about to move into our beautiful new home and there's no way the house would ever have been completed in time without the amazing outpouring of help offered by my friends and family. Everything from running out to the tile store to pick up more grout for me, to helping me shop for appliances and cabinet door pulls.

The next time someone offers assistance, accept it. Their offer is not just to be a "nice person," but because they care and want to be of service.

3. Generously Accept Higher Payment For Your Services

Stepping into your power with higher fees and making more mo-ney is easy when you understand that mo-ney is simply representing a clients' commitment to you and what you do. Paying you more also allows your client to value themselves more highly as well. So instead of being afraid to raise your fees and charge what you're worth, look at your new, higher fees as a form of generous support and acknowledgement from your client to you.

It may feel a little uncomfortable at first to allow this much acknowledgement to flow towards you. But with a little bit of practice you'll soon discover that receiving is just as much an act of generosity, as giving.
